ALTERNATIVES

…in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Ps. 16:11b (KJV)

Joy is all around us. It may sometimes be hard to discern through a cloud of suffering, but it’s there. Why not be intentional about choosing joy rather than accepting as a given the despair that confronts us with living in a broken world? We may have to look, but God and his joy are THERE.

This blog is dedicated to people who want to live enriched, abundant lives, who are earnest about digging deeper, and who are dissatisfied with a spiritual status quo. I invite you to join me on Mondays and Thursdays in reflecting upon God’s presence all around us.

Father of life and all good things, create in us a hunger that will be satisfied with nothing less than you.  Cause us to desire to glorify and enjoy you forever.  In Christ’s Name.  Amen.
